Crochet is an ancient technique, though of precise origin, there is no reliable data. The first patterns were published in the Dutch magazine Penelopé in 1824. Like all handicrafts, crochet has evolved and improved. Nowadays crochet is also popular with the young generation. Thanks to the availability and choice of materials, aids, patterns and the huge versatility of the use of crocheted products. We are all proud to create or carry handcrafted things, and to spread the joy when we give someone. It is a beautiful feeling of happiness for the brain, heart and hands.

Making knitting with needles was already known to the Arabs before Christ. From this period we have the first knit find - preserved Arab sock with a separate thumb from 300 BC. Europe has been knitting since the 12th century, first in Spain, where the oldest found European knitwear also comes from – colored gloves, and also in Florence, Italy. Nowadays, knitting is very popular and a wide range of designs inspire anyone who likes to knit to try at least one pattern. Knitting is a wonderful relax, once you get caught, never let go!
