Crochet is an ancient technique, though of precise origin, there is no reliable data. The first patterns were published in the Dutch magazine Penelopé in 1824. Like all handicrafts, crochet has evolved and improved. Nowadays crochet is also popular with the young generation. Thanks to the availability and choice of materials, aids, patterns and the huge versatility of the use of crocheted products. We are all proud to create or carry handcrafted things, and to spread the joy when we give someone. It is a beautiful feeling of happiness for the brain, heart and hands.
